I take responsibility - Taufiq

Youth and Sports Minister Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari has taken responsibility for a communication lapse between his ministry, the National Sports Council (MSN), and national track cyclist Datuk Azizulhasni Awang regarding the latter's future with the national team for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The minister clarified that the decision to retain Azizulhasni was made on August 13, but the offer letter was only issued recently, leading to a misunderstanding. He confirmed that Azizulhasni has accepted the offer to continue representing Malaysia.
