Family awarded RM359,000 over boy's defective circumcision
A sessions court in Kuala Terengganu ordered Hijraa Healthcare Sdn Bhd to pay over RM359,000 in damages to a 10-year-old boy and his family over a defective circumcision procedure. The court found the clinic's doctors negligent, causing severe injury and permanent scarring. The clinic's defamation suit against the mother was dismissed.
