Women's empowerment must start with children, with a focus on future skills
Women, Family and Community Development Minister Nancy Shukri said women's empowerment should start in childhood by equipping children with future skills. She announced plans for a children's development programme by next year and stressed the importance of financial independence and AI readiness for women. The ministry will seek additional support in the upcoming Budget to help women return to work.
