Man pleads guilty to assaulting father with jackfruit

A 30-year-old oil palm plantation worker pleaded guilty in the Sessions Court in Kota Bharu to causing grievous hurt to his 58-year-old father using a jackfruit. The incident occurred on August 13 at a house in Kampung Sungai Johar, Kuala Krai. The court set October 4 for the mention of facts and sentencing.
