Juwai IQI: Malaysia among top destinations for Chinese property buyers, investment on track to top RM1.6b a year
Malaysia has become the fourth most popular destination for Chinese property buyers, with enquiries reaching a record high. Chinese buyers invested RM835 million in Malaysian residential property in the first half of 2025, and the trend is shifting towards owner-occupiers seeking education and lifestyle benefits.
