Malaysia seeks Nepal's nod to deploy SMART team for flood SAR mission, says Tok Mat

Malaysia has asked Nepal for permission to deploy its SMART rescue team to help find Malaysians missing after floods and landslides. Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan discussed the mission with his Nepalese counterpart, and Malaysia pledged US$1 million in aid. At least 919 people have died in the disaster along the Nepal-China border.
