Edmonton Marathon: Organisers say 2026 route was 674 metres too long

Organisers of the Edmonton Marathon admitted the course was 674.7 metres too long, affecting runners' times and Boston Marathon qualification. The error was caused by a detour around Wellington Bridge construction.
