'One-pot' CRISPR platform delivers lab-like sensitivity in 30 minutes for at-home testing

Researchers from HKUST and CUHK have developed TEMPO, a one-pot CRISPR testing platform that delivers lab-like sensitivity in 30 minutes for at-home use. The platform can detect viral infections like influenza, COVID-19, and HIV, and could enable rapid genetic screening. The study is published in Nature Communications.
