API over 450 triggers abnormal alerts on smart poles; Huang Hong Sing: system technical limitation adjusted
Kuching South mayor Datuk Huang Hong Sing explained that the air quality index smart pole system at Kuching South Park displayed incorrect health advisories due to technical limitations when API readings exceeded 450. He said the system was designed for readings up to API 400 and has since been adjusted by the supplier to provide appropriate warnings for extreme pollution levels.
