Serial cable thief arrested after 30-minute KL car chase

A suspected cable thief with 37 prior offences was arrested after a 30-minute car chase in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 31. Police fired shots during the chase, which ended when the suspect's vehicle crashed into another car in Sri Petaling. A 29-year-old man was arrested, while the driver fled.
