UPSI rugby squad makes history with rugby gold

UPSI's men's rugby 7s team won their first gold medal at SUKIPT 2026 by defeating UKM 17-12 in the final at Padang B, Universiti Malaya. The team came from behind after trailing 0-12 at halftime. UiTM won the women's category.
