Five locations in Sarawak record hazardous API levels
As of 6pm, five locations in Sarawak recorded hazardous Air Pollutant Index (API) readings above 300, with Serian highest at 374. Several other locations in Sarawak, Sabah and one in Selangor recorded unhealthy levels, prompting automatic school closures when API exceeds 200.
