Young mother pleads guilty to illegally transferring baby's custody

A 24-year-old mother, S. Kelsi, pleaded guilty in the Sungai Petani Sessions Court to illegally transferring custody of her 12-day-old baby for RM17,300 at a private hospital between August 18 and 21. She also admitted to illegally possessing another woman's MyKad. Sentencing is set for October 5.
