New film industry policy in final phase
FINAS is finalizing a new national film industry policy (DFN 2026-2035) to guide the industry for the next decade. The policy, to be launched this year after Cabinet approval, focuses on alternative financing, market access, technology including AI, workforce development, and intellectual property protection. FINAS has also introduced new licensing regulations under the amended FINAS Act, including welfare protections for production crews.
