Former The Borneo Post editor and internationally published haiku poet John Tiong Chunghoo passed away in Sibu on Wednesday (Sept 2) at the age of 66. His brother, Datuk Seri Patrick Tiong, confirmed the news. John was known for his prolific poetry career, with over 3,000 poems published on PoemHunter, and his works were used in universities and schools worldwide.
