Don't sacrifice independent oversight for speed in Sabah's water crisis fixes, says former Water Dept director

Former Sabah Water Department director Datuk Dr Amarjit Singh has warned that the push for faster solutions to Sabah's water crisis should not compromise independent engineering judgement. He stressed the need to distinguish between independent engineering consultancies and commercial service providers to avoid potential conflicts of interest in major water supply decisions.
