Vacant houses turned into mining farms! Police uncover Bitcoin mining syndicate breaking into empty premises to install rigs

Police in Perak conducted four raids on National Day in Sungai Siput and Seri Iskandar, dismantling Bitcoin mining operations that stole electricity. They seized 168 mining machines worth about RM500,000 and arrested a 39-year-old man. The syndicate targeted vacant premises whose owners often work in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor.
