Building owner issued notice after concrete debris falls

A woman was injured by falling concrete debris from a heritage building on Lebuh China in George Town, Penang. The Penang Island City Council (MBPP) has issued a notice to the building owner to conduct inspections and repairs, and is intensifying visual checks on heritage buildings in the UNESCO World Heritage Site following a similar incident on Lebuh Armenian.
