Police advise halting beach activities after three tragedies at Kota Tinggi beaches in four days

Police in Kota Tinggi, Johor, have advised the public to temporarily stop beach activities following three drowning tragedies in the district within four days. The latest incident occurred at Pantai Tanjung Lompat, Bandar Desaru, where four 16-year-olds were feared drowned, with one body found and three still missing. The incidents happened during the school holidays, and authorities noted rough seas and strong winds due to the transition to the Northeast Monsoon.
