Apex court allows govt, police appeal over death-in-custody ruling

The Federal Court granted the government and police leave to appeal a ruling that held them liable for the 2019 death of gravedigger Fadzrin Zaidi, who died by suicide in a police lock-up. Leave was also granted in a similar case involving the death of security guard M Thinagaran in an MMEA lock-up in Klang.
