AMK chief criticises KKDW for overspending rural road budget
Ketua AMK, Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, has criticised the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) for spending beyond its approved annual allocation for rural road projects. This follows a statement by Treasury Secretary-General Johan Mahmood Merican that KKDW's actual spending exceeded its approved budget from 2023 to 2026. KKDW has denied the claim, saying payments were made to meet commitments and arrears from pandemic-era projects.
