British number one Katie Boulter was beaten 6-1 6-0 by Karolina Muchova in the US Open second round at Louis Armstrong Stadium in New York. Boulter struggled with her serve and conditions, hitting eight double faults. Fellow Briton Jacob Fearnley also lost, while Francesca Jones won her rain-delayed first-round match.
