Fire at plastic waste factory warehouse in Shah Alam destroys forklifts, trucks; no fire safety system found
A fire broke out at a plastic waste processing factory warehouse in Section 32, Shah Alam, Selangor, at around 10 pm last night. Twenty-six firefighters took about two hours to bring the blaze under control. The fire destroyed two warehouses, along with three forklifts, a lorry, and two compressors inside. About 80 percent of the fire was extinguished, and no casualties have been reported. An investigation later revealed that the factory had no fire safety system installed.
