Uber to cut about 10% of workforce in global restructuring
Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi announced the company will lay off about 10% of its roughly 34,000 employees as part of significant organizational changes. The company is also shutting down its operations in Nigeria and Uganda. Analysts expect the move to save around US$1.75 billion.
