Cultural and music activities as a medium for community unity

At the Pesta Meradong 2026 in Bintangor, Sarawak, a Karaoke Lagu Iban competition saw nearly half of its 20 participants from the Malay community, highlighting music's role in uniting multiracial society. Deputy Minister Datuk Abdullah Saidol praised the participation as a positive sign for the Dayak music industry and community unity.
