Government mulls permanent law reform commission
The government is considering establishing a permanent Law Reform Commission to systematically review and update national laws. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Azalina Othman Said said reforms should be evidence-based and not ad hoc. She spoke at the launch of a public survey on a Coroner's Bill in Kuala Lumpur.
