Fire at wood factory in Klang – delay in extinguishing due to lack of fire hydrants

A major fire broke out at a wood processing factory on Jalan Besar Kapar in Klang, Selangor, early Thursday morning (Sept 3). Firefighters faced challenges due to the lack of fire hydrants at the scene, delaying efforts to control the blaze which affected 80% of the 1.6-hectare complex.
