Penang ferry collision will not impact tourist arrivals, says state exco

A collision between the Teluk Bahang Ferry and cargo vessel MV Mekar Jaya near the Sultan Abdul Halim Ferry Terminal in Butterworth, Penang, has not affected tourist arrivals, according to state exco Wong Hon Wai. The incident injured 21 passengers and led to the temporary suspension of the Teluk Bahang Ferry for investigations.
