Ex-commando jailed 4 months for trespassing into mosque, stealing RM70

A former commando, Mohd Zaidi Mohtar, 44, was sentenced to four months in jail by the Magistrate's Court in Ayer Keroh for trespassing into a mosque's bilal room and stealing RM70 from the mosque's fund. He pleaded guilty to the charge under Section 448 of the Penal Code. The incident occurred at Masjid Al Wathoni, Bukit Pegoh, Bukit Larang, Telok Mas, on August 11.
