Quick action by 13 RAMD member saves near-drowning victim

A soldier from the 13th Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment (13 RAMD) saved a person from drowning in Sungai Nanga Mujau, Spak, Sarawak. The soldier performed CPR for nearly 15 minutes after the victim was pulled from the river unconscious. The victim was later sent to Klinik Kesihatan Layar for further monitoring.
