Mechanic injured after gunmen open fire at workshop

A 43-year-old mechanic was shot in the right palm by two men on a motorcycle at a car workshop in Jalan Sungai Lembu, Bukit Mertajam. The victim ran from the scene and later lodged a police report in Kulim, Kedah before seeking treatment. Police are investigating the case as attempted murder.
