F1 carnival to expand beyond Sepang circuit to Putrajaya, says minister

The F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 carnival at Sepang International Circuit in October will be expanded to Putrajaya, according to Youth and Sports Minister Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari. The ministry is also collaborating with KUSKOP to provide business space for local traders, including students and veterans, around Sepang. Circuit repair and upgrading works are scheduled to begin on September 7, 2026.
