Unimas and Fisheries Dept sign RM90,000 research MoU on preservatives

Borneo Post Serdang, Selangor

Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) and the Department of Fisheries Malaysia have signed an MoU to collaborate on research and innovation for sustainable fisheries. The agreement includes a RM90,000 project to study natural preservatives and heavy metal contaminants in Sarawak's fisheries industry. The MoU was signed on Sept 2 in conjunction with MAHA 2026 in Serdang.
