Immigration Dept probes SOP compliance after fatal KL crash; five escaped detainees recaptured

The Immigration Department is conducting an internal investigation into SOP compliance for its vehicles following a fatal crash on Jalan Sultan Ismail in Kuala Lumpur. Its director-general said the police are handling the case, and the driver faces five charges. Separately, five of 11 immigrants who escaped from the Tanah Merah depot have been recaptured.
