Coimbatore student selected for international oncology conference for plant-based cancer research
Francis Jegan Raj, a botany research student at Bharathiar University in Coimbatore, has been selected to participate in the 2026 international conference of the Korean Society of Medical Oncology. His research focuses on identifying and testing bioactive compounds from natural plants for potential cancer treatment. He has also been awarded a travel grant for the conference.
