SMART team of 11 departs from Subang for Nepal flood rescue mission

The Malaysian Reserve Subang, Selangor

Eleven SMART personnel departed from Subang Air Base this morning for Nepal to assist in search and rescue operations following floods and landslides. The team, led by Abdul Manaf Che Isa, is carrying 12.4 tonnes of equipment and will focus on areas where Malaysians were last reported. 55 Malaysians remain uncontactable after the disaster on Aug 26.
