MRCS Sarawak convention in Sibu gathers 200 cadets for leadership, humanitarian training
The Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) State-Level Convention 2026 is being held in Sibu, Sarawak, on Saturday, drawing about 200 young cadets from branches across the state. The event focuses on youth leadership, mental resilience and humanitarian preparedness, featuring seminars and team-building activities. MRCS Sibu Branch chairman Penghulu Chua Hiong Kee urged the cadets to develop sound judgement, teamwork and discipline for future humanitarian service.
