Punggol community market offers 90% discount to low-income families

A community market managed by the Punggol Community Club is offering a 90% discount on essential goods to residents holding blue CHAS cards in the Punggol Reservoir-Punggol estate. The initiative, which started in August this year, has seen about 200 households make purchases so far. The subsidy is funded by an annual $100 grant per household.
