MMA calls for safety review after fatal Sarawak helicopter crash kills five
The Malaysian Medical Association has urged a comprehensive review of healthcare transport safety after a Flying Doctor Service helicopter crash near Long Lellang, Sarawak, killed all five people on board. The victims included a doctor, an assistant medical officer, two nurses and the pilot. The MMA president called for the review to cover maintenance, risk assessments and emergency procedures.
