Demand shifts for Singapore community care apartments, says health minister
Singapore's Senior Minister of State for Health, Tan Kiat How, said on Wednesday (Sept 9) in Parliament that demand for community care apartments has changed. He attributed this to seniors now having more accessible options for housing and care services. Applications for the first two projects in Bukit Batok and Queenstown were oversubscribed, but later projects in Bedok, Geylang and Sengkang saw fewer applications.
