PAS leaders attend UMNO 2026 assembly, Nik Abduh confident of Muslim unity

KUALA LUMPUR: Senior PAS leaders attended UMNO's 2026 General Assembly at the World Trade Centre (WTC) in Kuala Lumpur today to hear the policy speech of UMNO President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. The visit was a return gesture after UMNO's secretary-general attended PAS's annual congress in Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan last week, and is seen as a sign of political cooperation ahead of the Melaka state election. Senator Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz said Zahid's speech gave him confidence that Muslim unity can be realised.
