Oil heads for 8% weekly gain as Hormuz attacks disrupt supply
Oil prices slipped on Friday but stayed on track for a weekly gain of more than 8 per cent as attacks on Middle East shipping routes raised fears of prolonged supply disruption. Brent fell 3.2 per cent to $104.18 a barrel while US diesel hit a record above $6 a gallon, and Saudi crude output dropped to a three-decade low.
