Gold bar 'inspection' scam in Klang: man flees with 70 bars, held within 24 hours

A man posing as a buyer took 70 gold bars worth about RM150,000 from a seller in Taman Sri Andalas, Klang, after asking to inspect them, then fled through a back passage. Police arrested the suspect at a Kuala Lumpur hotel within 24 hours and recovered all the gold; he has seven prior records and is under remand until the 13th.
