Asean health ministers close KL meeting with 2026-2030 agenda
Asean health ministers ended a five-day meeting in Kuala Lumpur with the launch of the Asean Strategic Health Agenda 2026-2030, covering healthy lifestyles, health emergencies, health systems and food safety. Malaysia is leading the Asean Emergency Operations Centre and shared its AI-assisted chest X-ray screening and Rare Diseases Playbook. The regional public health emergencies centre ACPHEED is not yet operational as member states finalise its agreement.
