UM expert: Cyberbullying without borders raises teen self-harm risk
A Universiti Malaya psychiatrist warns that persistent cyberbullying with no time or boundary limits raises the risk of teenagers harming themselves and attempting suicide. He says both victims and bullies face mental health risks, and urges parents, teachers and schools to provide safe spaces and strengthen counselling.
