Free Malaysia Today - Bahasa
Malaysian consumer group PPIM and social media activist Caprice are urging that social media platforms be sued for facilitating online sales of drug-laced vapes known as 'piu-piu' to minors. They cited a lawsuit by 29 US states against Meta and demanded platforms use AI algorithms to block such sales. Police recorded 402 drug vape cases in the first four months of 2026.
