Police open investigation into claim Negeri Sembilan MB was forced to sign proclamation

Police have opened an investigation into a claim that Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim was forced to sign a proclamation related to the abdication of the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan. Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the investigation is ongoing and updates will be shared later. Ismail had earlier claimed the proclamation document he signed at Istana Laguna Biru, Port Dickson on Aug 3 was made without his consent.
