Jamil Khir charged over RM860.3m Tabung Haji asset disposal, bail set at RM300,000

Former minister Jamil Khir Baharom was charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court with three offences under Section 403 of the Penal Code over the improper disposal of more than RM860.3 million in Lembaga Tabung Haji assets. He pleaded not guilty and was granted RM300,000 bail with one surety, with his passport surrendered and mention fixed for Nov 5.
