Catholic lawyers to lodge police report over Sepang Umno chief's clergy joke

The Catholic Lawyers' Society of Kuala Lumpur says it will file a police report over a lewd joke about the clergy told by Sepang Umno chief Noorazli Said at the Umno general assembly last Saturday. The society says the joke, which falsely attributed a punchline to Psalm 129, may breach sedition and religious offence laws as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act. It has called for an investigation, a retraction and a full apology to the Catholic community.
