FBM KLCI opens 6.74 points lower at 1,691.27
The FBM KLCI opened lower on Tuesday, falling 6.74 points or 0.39 per cent to 1,691.27 from Monday's close of 1,698.01. The decline was driven by crude oil prices nearing US$107 a barrel, US bond yields, and a warning from Anthropic's chief executive about AI development. Trading volume reached 268.38 million shares worth RM116.80 million.
